Talento is an IRS-registered, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation founded in New Mexico and based in New York, USA.
We are dedicated to raising funds to provide Skating and Coaching Grants for underprivileged children from low income families, giving them the opportunity to pursue figure skating without financial barriers.
WHO WE ARE
Talento was founded to make elite figure skating training accessible to children from low-income families and foster care, giving them a chance to build a future as athletes and coaches.
Our President, with decades of experience in the sport as a competitor and a professional coach, co-founded the organization to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity. Today, Talento is the first 501(c)(3) nonprofit powered by a dedicated team of volunteers, committed to raising funds and building a sustainable program that turns potential into a future.

WHAT WE DO
We raise funds to offer Skating Grants and Coaching Grants to youth from underserved communities and low income families to extend access to the sport and to build the foundations for a professional future development.
At the heart of our approach is a long-term athletic and professional development, which begins with our Team-Training formula, combining individual instruction with shared ice time, group sessions, and solo practice. This model reduces costs while fostering a sense of community and teamwork, key elements in a skater’s development.
We understand the immense financial and logistical challenges that skating families face. That’s why our program is designed to provide everything young skaters need to succeed, covering access to ice time, equipment, and instruction.
Through our inclusive approach, we aim to bring more diversity to the sport and ensure that every skater trains in a safe and supportive environment. With the support of generous donors and the skating community, we can make Skating and Coaching Grants a reality for talented children all around the globe.
